Thumbs up EASY WATERPROOFING

It is going to rain here for the next 2 days so I decided to water proof my S-MAXX, I read online about plasti-dip and stuff, but couldn't get my parents to take my to lowes. So I got Vaseline and just spread it on the servo at the gear and around where the plastic meets. Same with the throttle servo, reciever box, and battery box. Then i cut a piece of lexan and double sided taped it to the body right over the engine but still allowing air to pass from the front. There was snow, ice and it was POURING RAIN, and it performed perfect, until it skidded into a wall and it doesn't have reverse so I had to go get it. then ran it more. Works really well.

As a boat racer put your receiver in a baloon "large type from party store",flatten out wires & use a rubber band at the top. Works for rec. batteries too.
