I bought an ott light look alike for like $15 or 20 bucks and works the same. I compared it to an actual ott light at the track and had the exact same markings and stickers. Save yourself some money and buy the "no name" version. That is unless the ott lights have come way down in price. If you want me to check the brand shoot me a pm and I will get back to you.

Not sure where you are at, but if you have a Hobby Lobby they do carry them. Here they will have a 40 percent off coupon in every other Sunday paper. So you can get one really cheap!

I've never seen these before, and this may be obvious but, what are they used for?

Its just a table top light. Nicely packaged for travel, uses a nice florescent type bulb for long use... etc etc etc

I got my "knock-off" at an Anderson's (an Ohio thing)... but most Meijer, Wal-mart's, and various named "craft" stores carry the knock-off of some form or another..

And as a previous poster stated, I too tested against an actual Ott... I did this by swapping mine with the other persons at the track... he didn't notice til he noticed that I put an AE sticker where his LOSI one was...On the BACK.

They're just a lamp, man. They fold up nicely, made with tough plastic, flourescent instead of incadescent so the bulbs are much tougher, and the light can be directed--somewhat. Not directed like a full flexible lamp though.

Ok I know where to buy them.
That's not the problem.
I just want to know the model of the one they sell graphics for on upgrade Rc
There's a few that look similar but have different model numbers.

As stated in an earlier post.. I believe the Ott and the Ott look-alike knock off's ARE cased the same... the only difference (which I don't totally belive) is suppossedly the bulb they use..

In short, if you get an Ott-alike.. the graphics will fit just the same.
