.05
1/16
5/65
3/32

I would recommend getting a 2mm for set screws tho, the 2mm is a tighter fit then the 5/64 so it doesnt strip easy. imo

the collars on the t/b linkage. i cant remember on top of my head but they may be used for the shock screw that goes thru the piston too. I cant remember if that screw is .050 or 1/16

I have a race saturday and i am primarily running my ve8 wich requires a new mamba max pro case and some service. thanks to all that posted to help me and keep them comming. others may have the same problem and it may not require the same fix as mine.

lol, and i think that .5 is for the ball link on the slide of the carb. i think the only wrench on the truck. very uncommon for small bolts. if its small, its usually 1/16th.

The throttle ball on most engines uses a metric 1.5mm wrench. The SAE .050" wrench is used in all the set screws on adjusting collars on the throttle linkage and on the sway bar set screws. The 1/16 wrench is used for the shock piston screws, on the clutch pins, on set screws in the drive shafts and in the steering spindles. Pretty much the rest of the truck is 5/64 and 3/32. I might have missed some stuff, but you do need all 4 wrenches as well as 3/16", 1/4" and 11/32" nut drivers.

Default Quick inquiree

Hey guys,

Just registered here. Been running the HPI Savage for a while before I sold it prior to my deployment to Iraq, I really regreted selling it. Anyways, Im home on leave and my brother gave me his Losi 8ight 2.0 with Futaba 4PK FASST radio, the question is, what spare parts should I buy before heading back out to Iraq Christmas day to take with me, and how the heck am I supposed to ship nitro fuel out there. Thanks in advance for your replies.
