I like the m2c retainers. They work very well. The rear gets a little close in the buggy but still no issues.

Been running the m2c retainers all year and they are nice. Every gallon or so I disassemble the truck for maint. And everytime I remove the m2c ring the cvd pin falls out on its own. I went to the hardware store and bought some heatshrink and replace it every race.
Best $12 part on the truck

Default CVD

thanks for the CVD info.

I ran my trg with a clip like the M2's for the last couple of months. I ran the CVD's dry, just keeping them clean.I tore it apart and the front was worn pretty good, especially the pin, the rear I replaced a few weeks ago and it seems to hold up more. Does anyone run grease in them( like Mobile 1 synthetic grease) with a longet boot on them? Like a shock boot ?

If you don't run grease, then what do you put on them ?

thanks again for althe info.

Mike

Mike we have been using the spray on dry graphite lube. It comes in a can and u spray it on wet and then it dries. Not much but it seems to help and atleast it doesnt catch and hold dirt and grit like a grease will.

No.

This is not true.

Voice your opinion on items that actually have some truth to them.

The new style of body for the truggy is being looked at BY THE BODY companies in 2010 to set a direction for the class in 2011. This class has not had any set guidelines and is beginning to go a direction outside of the intent of RC racing ... which, by the way, is to resemble 1:1 racing.

Off road currently does not have a body approval system and ROAR would like to keep it that way. (please, refer to the meeting minutes, posted on the ROAR website where actual news for ROAR is stated)

And BigEdmond - ROAR did not ILLEGALIZE the VTR Wheels. The wheel is larger than the dimensions in the rule book.
So no worries guys.
