With a lil' convincing it would fit. too bad all the 1.0 shells losi sells are pre cut. otherwise you could just space the holes further out. I was really diggin the 1.0 shell too and don't know about the new one.

the 2.0 body should fit the 1.0....but im pretty sure the 1.0 body wont fit the 2.0 if it truly is 14mm longer....the shock bolts already touch.

im glad to hear at least a little bout a 2.0. I like the body style pictured above, looks cool. I was fixin to start upgrading my RTR but now im gonna wait!! Especially if its only a month or two out. Another plus, i only have one other set of tires so even if they are widening it out, i wont be at a total loss, and my dad wont care bout the upgrade so ill give him my old tires??!! I want mo updates!!!!!

imo they never had any intention to do this anyways....the only reason those zero off wheels are there are because of the Merger with GRP....my guess is those are the new OPtion part that you can run if you want or accomodate with hex's to run what offset you would like.......i Highly doubt losi would pull zero off wheels on all us 8ight owner's and not make it possible to go either way,...just dosen't seem very smart of their part.

I thought about that at first however the wheels were specifically listed as 8t 2.0. and the turnbuckles are 14-15 mm longer than the 1.0 ones which leads me to believe that the arms are close to that much longer aswell. if this is the case there is no way it would be able to use 1/2 offset wheels. that would be like running extenders and 1/2 offsets. wayyyyy tooooo wideee.

What's the max width allowed in Truggy class anyways? I have no idea, plus I've never really looked it up.

IMO, the three best truggys out there are the Kyosho, AE, and Jammin. All of those are longer and wider then the 8T. So why not make the new truggy longer, wider, and BETTER!? If 0 offset wheels make the truck that much better then it seems like a rather small thing to get so caught up on and pissy about. I say bring on the longer, wider truggy!
