I used to run a 1/10th gas....never understood why it died. 1/10th Electric stadium truck is the most popular electric....

I guess 1/8th buggy just beat out the popularity contest...

1/10th nitro truck only came into existance because it was faster and more exciting than 1/10th eletric truck. Now the electric trucks can do everything the nitros can, only better. If the only reason for 1/10th nitro truck is to get a "nitro fix", well thats better served by the truggy class.

1/8th nitro buggy is the busiest right now.

The popularity of buggies varies per track or area. Last year the Losi 8ihgt was very popular. This year the RC8 and XB808 are popular so far.

I'd say any of the high end 1/8th scale buggies are popular. If you can bolt on good servos, a fast engine and decent radio gear you can go racing. The Hot Bodies D8 is pretty hot right now after taking Worlds. It just happens to be a great buggy at a very good price too.

I'd like to see a CORR truck class emerge and become strong. I have a Slash and my buddy just got the SC8 and both are incredibly fun to drive and race. Open wheel racing will always be fun but being able to bang doors and not end up on your back or pointing the wrong way adds a ton of fun to the racing experience. I'd like to race in another class but I'm not all that interested in truggies, monster or gas trucks.

to be honest 1/10th nitro will survive because it's still interesting to watch when the fast guys are doing it and it's a stepping stone for a lot of new hobbyists(whether it's a traxxas or something better) i've noticed a lot of people I know started with a 1/10th scale stadium. I wish we had more of a monster truck seen around here cause I'd like to race a savage just to say I've done it lol

Monster truck racing died in my area because of certain poeple at the track. But drive east or west of town 1 1/2 drive they race them with big turnouts. I love to go back racing my Savage
