Default trade question

im tryin 2 get your guys opinion on this, ive been wanting a slash. and my buddy who i pit with at the track has a brushless slash for sell because he got an sc8.

and i have an rc8 ive been tryin 2 sell for like 2 months now because i already have a losi buggy and truggy and the rc8 just sits there so yea...

and now he wants my rc8 so he can have extra parts for the sc8. Is the Brushless slash a good trade for a stock rtr rc8

A good trade is when both parties are satisfied. A new slash cost less than half an RC8. But if you would be happy with what you got than it doesn't matter.

I agree I think everyone has traded down at least once to have a car that you enjoy racing is priceless

Stock slash is less but add on a brushless system and it gets it close. See if he will throw in a few batteries, lipo, or whatever and then like everyone else said, if you are both happy go for it.

you said your rc8 is a RTR. do you mean a RTR kit from AE? or like that you have engine servos etc with it? if your car is a bought RTR then i dont think your going wrong especially if you really want and can run the slash..if your car is a team kit adn you have running gear in it.. then i dont think so

Yours is a RTR? Sounds like a good trade. Especially in that it's between friends.
