Default Go Technology .21 3 Port Race Engine?

How many of you guys have this engine? And who's running it on a Mugen MBX5R or similar?

How do you like it, and is it worth the money?

I run it in a 8ight with a 086 pipe and it's smoking fast. It was fast enough that all the guys at the track with modded high dollar engines came over and asked me what I was running.

It's worth every penny.

OH yeah and be aware there is a 3 port race and a 3 port sport. The former is the quick one obviously.

Alright guys, thanks for the feedback. Sounds like I'll be throwing one in my Mugen if all goes as planned.

decent one for the money I actually was just helping someone break one in. He got one of the last ones carolinasrc.com had in stock. Looks like most places are out now. He got his for $160 which is a good price I think.

I have one of the first 6 3-port Race engines that Russell got for testing. It's still running strong in my new HB D8. I love it. I want to get another one.

Default 3 port r spec

Totally insane motor. Ran mine in a 5R with the dynamite 086. Stock carb restrictor was good, but when I put an O.S carb off my .30 it ripped!!! 1.0 clutch springs with the al shoes and the motor pipe combo was very smooth. cant say enough about this motor. Compared to a modded V-spec easy.

I run it on my ocm buggy, really fast motor. It seems finicky about pipes, mine seems to like the longer pipes, so keep that in mind.

I bought my from holeshothobbies, they show 1 in stock. Contact Chris hes a good guy.

Question for the GO guru's. Can you drop in the piston and sleeve of a 5 port into a 7 port with good performance results?

Is it a direct replacement? Will the carb be an issue?
