Would like to start my break in on the new N21BF Limited. I run 30% ODonnells, what size shim should I add to be able to run 30%?

Thanks

Tony

With a Nova, I do not think you need an extra shim.

extra shim is not necessary but does create a little more top end , easier tuning , less pre ignition and easier break in period . .10mm shim is the most you should put in if you feel the necessity
happy motorin',

I am shure it is a great little mill. And for the price I would buy 1 too. Now to my point Why bash GO's? I pull P5X's all ay everyday with a Go. I am not bashing Nova I have had them and like them. I just dont get talking bad about other companies.

No kidding. I have had issues with my Go's that were mostly my fualt. I am running a 3 port right now while I wait for my Trinity engines to come in. I has been a pleasure to run and very predictable. 9+ easily.

I am thinking of getting the limited and was woundering how they hold up ? And is there any problems getting parts because amain has no parts listed for it. Also I thought this engine was no longer in production. Any info would be great.

Does anyone know how good the warranty is on the limited. I purchased one of these a few months back. I followed the break-in process and ran a total of a half a gallon of fuel through it when the piston shattered.

Mine too, It was only 3 weeks old and it broke the connecting rod, unknown reason, even a nova engine racer helped me with it, to keep it running, I left it to the Hobby shop I got it from, At least they will help me with it.. 3 weeks, 2 runs not even a race..

good luck on yours

monty whats goin on?

I just got off the phone with the owner of fusion motor spots, he's the US importer. He says that after brake in or before change the rod to a +4 rod it's stronger and will last better. Also a tuneing tip on these engines run the hsn a little fat and the lsn a tick lean this will help with your idel. He seemed to be a vary nice guy answered any and all questions I had.

Here is the phone number 909-862-4000

I hope this helps
