As far a racing being a little low , guess you haven`t been to LH lately ? They had 80 racers Saturday night for electric which is a big difference from 20 a month or so ago . Besides there are some people that are intimidated to race at LH .
your right i havent been to lh on sat nite for a couple of months but the # on sunday/nitro are low.how many slash trucks are they up to?

Usually there has been at least two groups of Slashes and enough for a third sometimes . Looks like there was 40 nitro racers this past sunday which is better then 6-10 on an average a while ago .

mr. Richards I was not talking about you, no need to get persenal on the trans am hate. There are alot of GREAT ppl. at LH then there are alot of ppl. that think they are great which is who I was refering to. alot of ppl. come and go in this hobby thats the nature of the beast and when the new hot car comes out ever 6 mths that costs 600.00 some ppl. indeed can not afford it.

twelvegauge , When do you see this happening ? Is the building insulated ? What is the size of the building ? Is there ample parking if you get a lot of racers ? Are you going to get a timing system right away or after a while ? When the time comes and if you need ventilation and heating equipment , I can hook you up with some great prices .

actually i found a new place i am in negotiation with the owner and as soon as everything is good it will be a go. I only have my brother and his kid for help and need to get materials together. the place is huge heated and has a good area for driver set up also heated, of course its hard to heat the track with the nitro vehicles. I have been looking at a AMB lap system the guy wants $390 w/ 3 transponders is that reasonable i cant seem to be able to find any others. The place i am looking at has more parking than i need and room for expansion outside on and off road and pos. carpet racing if i can find any one who gets into those or like my obsolete rc 12L that the guy at leisure hrs says we are in the northern hemisphere no one has even herd of a pan car well 10yrs ago at aj's they did damn that makes me feel old, Any way in the near future i may need some volunteers i would make a deal to those who were willing to help it wont be in maple park anymore though but not far from it. let your friends know syc r/c will happen and if you are relly serious call steve at 630-935-0132 i will need some extra hands posibly a carpenter or plumber (bathroom is not in good shape)

Do you know which AMB system it is ? That`s a really cheap price and almost be worried it doesn`t work . Does it come with the software ? Software for the timing systems is around $1000 and up , depending what you get . If it works and accepts house transponders I`d jump on it . I`ll give you a call tomorrow .

well i guess you and evryone else will have to be the judge of that. It does not have any poles and the drivers set up area should be more than sufishent, it has heat in both areas but i dont plan to run it in the track area any more than LH does beacuse of the exhaust fumes (we will see what happens) I hope to bring a very user friendly place close to evryone in the area unless you like to drive an hour or more to practice or race. I have an amb system so races will be in the future as soon as things are in order. Also i am looking for some good clay and have several layouts on paper to chose from i hope to have something together in the next couple of weeks. I will leave a sugestion box for evryone to give their opinions and sug.
