The race is BACK!

One of the biggest races in Las Vegas is back. The Nevada state champs has been around for more then 15 years.

It will be held in Boulder City, at the Silver State R/C track on November 22nd.

Brand New Layout with a bunch of new things that you have never seen before.

Raffle prizes. Give Aways.

Baja5b's, AE SC8's.

Cool. I already knew this was going to happen, but it's good to finally see a post on it. Any chance of a Baja 5B class? I'll bring mine along just in case. Also, what classes are you expecting. Specifically, will there be an intermediate class between sportsman and pro?

Nov 22nd, track opens at 7am. racing starts at 10am. hope to see everyone out there, layout is going to be fun

15min lower mains
20min b main
45 min a mains
sportsman and expert classes in both

I do believe there will be a MT class also, And Chuck F from Havasu said he wants to put up $50 to the winner of MT.

Can an electric buggy run with the sportmen 8th scale class? I would only be able to run qualifiers and lower mains.

As in an electric 1/8th Buggy?

If so, Ofcoarse you can run.

There aren't any additional pictures of the track that I'm aware of yet, but our local club website is keeping up with it and may be posting additional pictures. The Boulder City facility is where the Silver State Nitro Challenge was held earlier this year. If you look that event up on the net, you'll find all kinds of pictures and videos. The only other track I'm aware of in Vegas is the Silver Bowl Track, located behind the soccer fields on Russell Rd just east of Boulder Highway. There's an off-road and on-road track there, and we race off-road nearly every Saturday. For more, check out:
