Great motor.... run the Sirio 2013 pipe...

Excellent buggy motor with smooth bottom end with a great middle and top end.

I run the Sirio 2013. Great bottom, mid and top. Pulls all the way down the straight.

I run the Sirio S5 turbo Plug. S6 if it gets really muggy outside.

The S5 is compared to a P3. S6 to what would be a P4. thats what I have been told anyway.

hope this helps

Dude, this is the best engine I have ever had. I run a JP-3 on mine and its perfect. With glow plugs, if you want one that lasts like forever and still is great on power P6 but now I use a P3.

I run mine with the 2057 pipe. but I've a buddy who runs it with the 2013. The 2013 seems to be more responsive with better grunt. Run time is not fantastic. I think I got like 8 minutes before I needed to pit.

This is one of my favorite motors, very linear power band and super smooth. I run mine with a 2013 and 97t plug. Its at about 4 gallons, and since a gallon it has consistently run at about 235 degrees, idles for days and gets about 8 1/2 to 9 minutes. I have never missed a 7 1/2 minute pit stop, except on the occasion that I forget how to drive and wreck to much...

In the spirit of full disclosure I did have to replace the rear bearing at around 3 gallons (very minor chip taken out of one of the ceramics). There are no signs that it has ever taken any dirt but who knows, I honestly don't know why it failed.

Replaced it with a TKO rear ceramic from Peter and its been ripping since.

i am getting one of these engines the evo4 for my buggy looking forward to it i was told they were pretty heavy on fuel but they dont seem that different to running the os v spec which is a thirsty motor .....

Default Help with my EVO4

Hey i am running the EVO 4 with the 2013 pipe in my 777. I am running a p3 turbo but i keep fowling plugs and the engine idles up after a quick throttle blast. I keep trying to richen the low end needle but with no success. I was wondering if i need a colder plug. I am running nitortane 30%. I used to run a evo 3 and ran good, just wanted an updated engine. The glow plug in that was a sirio 7 turbo. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Default Tune

Sounds like your rich on the bottom. Richen the top a couple hrs and lean the bottom but you will probably have to drop the idle some. I would run 25 % also as that's what it's shimmed for .
