Nice twist, i run an RC8. If had to go with something else it wouldn't be an easy choice with a slew of great cars. I have sat thinking about it, and if money was not an issue... i can't make my mind up!

I think that's a good thing though, the market at the moment is good and competitive and with choice

The D8 that won the worlds had a lighter chassis, aluminum outdrives, and longer rear shocks with a taller rear shock tower. The three other D8's that made the A main at the worlds were box stock. Even if only those three made the A it would still have been more than any other manufacturer. Alot of the other buggies in the main were not all box stock either.

never are at the top level, never said the car was a turd. the other three i listed were pretty close to stock. dont really know how the d8 will hold up only time will tell. the other three cars are new but are known for quality and durability. this is why I listed them as cars that I would buy.

But having 4 D8's in the top 10 of the Worlds, are they that good and how come their not anybody's 2nd choice.
I've driven many D8's thats why its not my 2nd, 3rd, or 4th choice.

- I run the Xray 808 now.

1. - I'd probably run the Mugen MBX6 as my next choice, now that the aluminum pin holders are out. Also needs diff work, greese groves in out drives, thicker out drive diff pins etc...

2. - MP9 would be my 2nd choice, but I would have to save up for that one, or rob someone. LOL.

Popularity of race buggies will always be won by marketing and distribution power, Horizon/Losi is perfect proof of this.

Agreed, I really wanted the MBX6, but due to budget I took the chance on the D8 but I'm glad I did as I really like it. It drives alot like my old jammin X1cr but with much more corner speed.

Why is it that there is always a some sort of bias against Losi? It's not like the car is a piece of junk. It wins a ton of races wherever it goes. It's their fault they have good marketing and a decent car? I think it's a lot of people get sick of seeing it win. Everybody hates the big winner, like Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, etc...
