Default Upcoming Truggies

Since the Worlds, there were many new buggies that came out. What new Truggies are we expecting to see within the next 6 to 8 months. And when will we see them?

Also, for those of you who owns both buggies and truggies, do you guys typically own different manufactures for the truggy and buggy? Or do you guys typically stick with the same manufacture?

Makes sense to stick with the same brand for bugs and trugs...For instance if you have an 8T you have several parts that would also work for an 8B...Or like I have an Xray XT8 and a few parts also work for the 808 and XB8...Jammin X1/X2 and Hyper 8...RC8B and RC8T...etc etc...Thats what I've seen.

well xray is overdue. then again a new bug for worlds, and now a 009 and 12scale for worlds is more important than an american fad.

m00g is due and u know kyosho needs to figure out how to get their head on straight. GS lost Marty Korn so their toast. TT is no longer needed with AE onboard. Hot Bodies/HPI offering on heals of D8 i'm sure is possible. losi 2.0 8T, who is to say, prolly some update bits coming unless they've truely solved how not to kill T/B servos. tamiya in the game now (oddly b4 a bug, but they can if they want). O'Donnell Perhaps? Rest of the bunch that might be out there are seemingly minor players (robo, ofna (hobao side), CEN, OCM, SH, caster, TQ)...

unless Traxxas wants to piss some more folks off.

btw-the jammin trug is akin to the jammin bug, not the hyper 8 is which hobao based, not hong nor. and the x2 has little in common with x1.

Hopefully its more about who all out there starts to release CORR based trucks after AE.

R

ps- yes most try to stay to same brand, b/c its not cheap and its not gettin any easier. idk how guys still manage both. me nowadays, if i get a break, i'll take it and get a nap or some bench racing in.

yea, that is what i was thinking. I sold my mbx5t and got a mbx6. But i am missing my tuggy now. I asked because I see people signatures and it seems that many folks cross manufactures. So, i thought I'd asked.

Yea...But you get my point. Its smart to stick with the same brands because you never know when you'll be in a race and not have that one part but oh shit your buggy does...or oh shit your truggy has the part for your buggy!

[QUOTE=ultegrasti;5033014]

Get their head on straight?????
not sure what you mean by that comment

Most people stay with the same buggy/truggy becaus of the parts that will interchange and some people run different vehicles because the buggy fits the way they drive but the truggy doesnt or vice versa

The 801X looked real fast in the expert class at the RC Pro Finals this last weekend. I think that guy TQ'd that class, but had some electrical or engine problems in the main on saturday. But he was robbed at the start of the race by traffic behind him.
