I need cleaning advice on a nitro restoration
I am restoring an old stadium truck and the thing is covered in really, really sticky stuff that I assume is old nitro fuel. What do you guys recommend I use to clean this off?I was thinking oven cleaner for the motor and carburator spray for the chassis.

Simple green and Nitro spray. I would be afraid of the oven and carb cleaner. Some of that stuff can break-down rubber components. It may take a couple of times and some brushing with a toothbrush and another brush, but I think this is the safest way. Don't try and re-use the toothbrush.

A couple soaks in WD-40 might work well also, you could use a brush to further help remove gunk. If your cleaning the inside of the motor WD-40 works very well and displaces any moister. WD stands for "Water Displacement" You can use an air compressor to blow out/off any excess residue.

When it's all clean, use some Maxima Sc1 to finish it up. It'll make it look like new again and also make it easier to clean the next time. You can pick it up at most dirt bike shops.
