Default diffs

This is the point you put 3 shims on the gear side and 1 on the other not 2 on the gear side 2 on the other like the manual says. Trust me I got this tip from Marty and the diffs have been great ever since.

This right here is what if thing. The thing is they put 4 D8 in the top 12. 2nd Ryan Mayifield he was kicking tail so what if he didn't have a flameout RC8 would have been world champ. Soo see how this what if this and what if that how it goes. Bottom line is there is no what if because you can't rewind TIME. The new cars making there first major race at the worlds had in most a bad showing.

When Marty had to leave GS, so did many folks potential business. He was the reason most even dabbled with GS. now most stateside dont. sadly, i'd say take a look at some1 elses bug. 1 that might also get some shop support in terms of parts.

I would go with the D8, I'm not just saying that because I'm on the team.. The car is very very stable yet fast, I have yet to break anything since getting the kit, my car is 100% stock, right down to the clutch.

I have driven the GS cars in the past, they are very good.. most of the cars out today are pretty good. Another thing to consider is parts availablity.

I think you would be very happy with the D8, I know I am!

I personally have a D8 and really like it and I would buy it again if I had it to do over but I don't think you will have any problems with any of the kits you listed. Another option you should consider is the TQ SX8. I have been very impressed after seeing one of these and their price point is right there close with the D8 and CL1. Pick which ever you really like and you will probably be very happy.

Default question

hi guys!

would any body know the actual weight difference between the mbx-6 and CL1 advanced plus?

according to their respective websites, the difference is only about 200 grams. That figure seems to me to be a little small...

i will be using the cl-1 in the near future

Dom, Glad to see you are liking the D8. I saw some run this weekend at the state race and they took some HARD hits and did not break. Was impressed considering I did not think the buggy would be that good awhile back.

You will soon be able to get a bigger rear tower for the longer rear shocks if you want more travel since its not out yet I have Cen shock ends on my rear shocks and it allows for maximum down travel for the stock shock tower.

SO WHAT a WIN is a WIN I am very tired of people saying this over and over just deal with the fact that HB built a good car and plus they are winning all over just not the worlds........
