Got the front bump skids for my losi 8 and 8T a few days ago. They look great but I havent installed them yet. I've been running the rear skids for some time and they do fit really nice.

Quality Stuff!

Do you make any skids for the jammin CRT .5?

Default O'Donnell Z01B

I just got a O'Donnell Z01B and hoping that you make a set for them aswell.I used them on my old MBX5 and lasted almost a whole season. They are worth the price versus a chassis.

My MBX6 skid plates recently took a week to arrive in the UK which is excellent and I have to say the fit is perfect.

Any news on a front bumb skid for the MBX6?

Bumpskids are brilliant! I had tried running one of your skidplates mounted backwards on the front end of my buggy after chamfering the edge but it didn't work. Dirt managed to get between the skid plate and the chassis.

So the bumpskid is almost exactly what I had envisioned for front chassis protection. I'll be ordering a set right away.

I am running a very old buggy and wanted skid plates after seeing what happened to my last chassis. I e-mailed DE over the summer but never got a response so I am glad you are here
I pretty much know the answer but maybe you can verify this for me or tell me if you have been around long enough to have patterns for the older buggys that you could custom make. The newer Kyoshos probably have smaller gear boxes than the old ones so the holes won't line up. Do you have anything that would fit a Kyosho MP-6?
I had given up and made a rear one out of Lexan. I think it was 0.085" thick and worked fine for my last race but I need to heat it up and bend it silghtly to keep the front lip tight up against the chassis to keep dirt from packing underneath it. The front will be a little more challenging but your website gives me a good idea how to do it!
If you don't have anything available for me can you give me any tips on making my own successfully since you seem to be the leader in this product? What's the biggest things to pay attention to?
Thanks

Great feedback all of you! Thank you for choosing DE racing products. Mbx6 bumpskids are in process of being manufactured. The racer with the mp6 pm me with your bulkhead spacing and I will see what we can do for you! Racer with the "O" car send me your bulkhead spacing and I will check on that for you also. Thank you all for your support of DE racing products.

I've been running the rear skid plates on my 8 and 8T most of the summer. They work great and save a lot of wear on the chassis. I can't wait to get the bumpskids for both cars now.
