One thing to clear things in my head. Are the Ex-tech the same as the Sirio?

with the right pipe, clutch , plug , carb insert and most important the right tune pretty much any engine can get 10 min. runtimes except for maybe 8 port .28 such as 528 nova . that thing is an animal !!!!!
my recommendation to you is a p5xs with 7mm carb insert , novarossi 9853 w/ short header at 235 degrees . great powerbands , lots of torque , very dependable and easy to tune

happy motorin' ,
monty

OS Speed. It is the most bang for the buck. Great runtimes, great tuneability, great durability, and it will laaaaaaaast for a long time. I actually think it is the cheapest motor on the market, if you consider how long it will last.

Go Tech engines. The 5 port comes with a whole bunch of different carb restrictors so you can get the most run time. Many guys are doing 10-11 mins with them.
Even better: 90% or people will not notice the difference in power or engine life between a Go Tech and the engines listed in the above posts, but they will notice it is half the price!!!

I do however agree with the comments re: throttle control and how different ppl will get different run times.

PS: no I am not employed / sponsored / etc by Go Tech, I just think they are the best thing since chilled beer and I am impressed by the price.

They are made by Sirio, however they are not the same as the Sirio engines. They all have different internals.

Thanks Yanman. What would you guys prefer, Sirio or Trinity?

The speed is a great motor but you cannot say it is bang for buck, the Speed is expensive, it does not last any longer than a RB or a GRP, however, the parts are cheap for OS motors.
