If you like the 5r the 6 is better. There are several Mugen drivers at my home track mostly 5r's. There is 1 with a 6 and he loves his buggy. I would not go near a redcat, I have seen them in person and they are very cheap junk. I would get a Duratrax Raze before a Redcat.

One of my friends has driven all 4 of those cars (well, ran old losi). In order from best to worst, here it is: 1. MP9 2. X6 3. 808 4. 8ight

All four, of course, would be capable of going fast though.

This Xray XB808 kit is seriously the best gear I've ever owned! Dont let the weight of the car fool you, if its light it wont beat itself to death like a heavier car. I too went 17 races straight without a DNS/DNF. It just amazes me how this is even possible, but it is and I have the online results to prove it! Its the strongest and lightest buggy on the market. Drive one and you will instantly make up your mind, so long as it has a descent setup and tires.

was in the same position about a month ago, had been out of racing the last year. the last buggy i had was the rc8. when i was deciding on my new buggy, it was between the k car, mbx6 and xray, drove the xray and liked it alot, quality is awsome and parts aren't as pricey as you would think. a friend has the mp9 and has nothing but problems, he said it drives great but never finishes a race with it, he went the alabama race and had problems, also problems at pro series final, said he was selling all of them (has 3) and getting an xray. These problems may just be badluck with him, but he is an expiernced driver. finnally got to drive the mbx6, it is a great ride, great parts and finish, not quite xray, but good quality, very happy with this buggy, so i bought it and couple of ninja jx's. it's all in what fits you best, the top of the line buggys are all great, just depends on what fits your driving style, would have like to drive the z10b and jammin also. my .02.
