from what i hear they are only a little more than a P5XST.

Neil, soft bottom end what pipe is he running, I run the RC8T, and i have more than enough, to much during the day when grip is down, when grip is up, squates the ass end very nicley, no problems clearing our short runups, and steop up tripples. I will say this it is a 7 port, it may not have bottom like a 3 or 5, but still has more than I need with all alum shoes and stock 1.0 springs, if he's use to running your mills i can maybe see why he feels like it has no bottom

LOL ok two things

1 to me the motor sounds tight?
2 where's the smoke on the bottom, i see a bunch on mid and top?
3 what springs is he running, there sounds to bee no stall.

I will try and get a vid cam and post a vid of my FMS, also, I run a 9901 with Dyn header, and about 235 to 240 on temps, and the motor sings son. And I will have the truck on a track.

he is running a very low stall.......

I look forward to seeing your video of it...( even if it on a track LOL J/k) track ? whats a track ? LOL J/K

I do have a 21-7 that I know for sure has a soft bottom, which is why I was hoping the FMS was stronger down low..the 21-7 did good in Buggy, but really struggled in Truggy

The FMS also has a different carb, it's off the 367, not the same as the plus 21 7 and plus 21 5, alot of guys here in the US prefer the 21 7 with the 9901 and long header in truggy, what plug was he running?

The carb on the 367 was just reversed, like the new OS carbs. Or mind you, installed the correct way. No more turning the carb around.

As for the FMS, its a 7 port. I still wouldn't expect it to have gobs of bottom end. I pick engines by the ports it has, more ports, more top end-less bottom and vice versa.

As for the new Plus 21-4, its a 3 port actually (from the older CLB design) combined into Novas current case/crank designs. Still not official, but from what I check the part numbers against, this is what it looks like so far. Not sure why the exhaust port is counted in the 3 port Novas, but not in a 5,7 or 9 port. Maybe marketing names I guess.

On the tracks I run on the 21-7 rips..to much on the bottom and you just "light" up the rear tires on most of the tracks i race on so the 21-7 is perfect..
