Default ST-RR Gearing

I was wondering what changing the diff gears in the ST-RR to the 777 buggy style with the 13t bevel gear would change for speed and acceleration. The 13t gear is a little bigger then the sprial cut 10t stock gear, so I think it would increase top speed and slow acceleration. The crown gears seem to be the same size. So how much would this affect gearing and would droping a size or two in the centre diff spurr gear correct this.

I can't see this gearing change being being a positive one. By changing to a buggy's diff gearing(13/43) vs. truggy diff gearing(10/43) you'd eliminate any usable acceleration. In order to correct the gearing change, you'd have to go to a much larger spur gear, not smaller. Larger spur gear means moving throttle servo outward and up, neither of which are a good thing.

Is there a 10t bevel gear that will fit the buggy style crown gear? I tried a helfire one but the gear pitch is a little off.
