Whats a good Heavy Duty Starter Box?
I just burned out the 550 motors ( I think) on my Kyosho 2.0 starter box. Whats a good heavy duty starter box that have a big 12v motor on it. I got a Inferno MP9 with a new GRP tuned .21 and that sucker still gots the big time pinch even after about 10 tanks. Thats how I fried the tiny dual 550s. I see the Ofna are very popular but dont know which ones gots the heavy duty motor. Any other brands out there that you recommend.
Thanks,
Tin

The Ofna truggy box. The blue one. The only box you will ever need. It has dual 750's and will damn near engage your clutch!

Ofna Truggy box is the best box I've ever owned. you can't beat duel 775 motors, and like Porkchop said with one 14.8V lipo it's a beast.

+1 on the Ofna Truggy box. 775 x2...I use a 12v gel, which allowed me to cancel my gym membership

+10 on the Ofna Blue Truggy Box!!, and WOW, I've never seen so many people all recommend the same thing!! Holy crap, good thing he didn't ask which Buggy/Truggy/ or engine to buy!, lol
You can use the Blue ofna box as a bench grinder when not used to start your buggy/truggy, its that powerful, Runs with Lipo, 12 volt, or 2 high amp 7.2 volt stick packs. Replacement parts are cheep as hell too

Thanks guys. I kinda figure the Ofna box are what most will recommend. Thats what I see at the tracks.
As for heating up the motor, I did it the first few tanks until the last two tanks. Thats how I burned the tiny 550s. Damn motor still have lots of TDC pinch after 10 tanks. It was kinda funny seeing the brushes fall out of the smoking motor glowing red when I tried turning the wheel with my finger. As for the lipo, Im using Losi 14.8v 2000+ mah. Its gives very decent starting times and yup, its hella light weight.
Right now im using my trusty old Hobbico hand held bump starter (old skool).
