Default corr/buggy

ok. so im looking at 21s. whats a good motor/pipe combo, looking at spending about 300 for the combo. i was looking at the nova 21 5port standard plug thatd put me a bit over 300 with a pipe.

my plans. mbx5r roller, jr 9100/hs 5625. basicly what i run in my revo. a nice 21 with good pipe. and sc8 tires/body. and if it didnt work out for a corr class or anything. i can always just take it back to a buggy.

any input is thankful

If you do a pretty thorough CORR conversion (meaning tires/wheels) then you'll probably find that to be too much motor. The good news is, if you do a Nova N21bf, you'll get all the power you need for less $$'s.

You need to put a Mugen Truggy chassis on there, it needs to be longer wheel base to fit under the body.

i've been putting a lot of thought into a go tech 21 5 port. which pipe sould i use? im looking for a nice all around pipe. and for the MBX5corr you guys think a 28 6 port would be too much? and that i should go with the 3 port?

the corr will probaly just be a play truck until enough people get em out at the track. and once that happends. itll prolly get a 21 also, and ill just put the 28 in a basher or let it sit.

If you want a GREAT cheap motor, get a Sportwerks .26 V2. Yes, it is a "Cheap ready-to-run" motor with a pullstart, but they make a "regular" backplate for it too. $129.99 for the motor + $11.99 for the backplate on A-main. They suggest an 053 pipe, and the Dynamite is $51.99 I think. This motor and pipe makes almost as much power as my VSPEC, (more low end, less top end) and for less than $200 it is tough to beat. Easy to break in, and easy to tune.

p.s. I'm pretty sure you DON'T need the truggy chassis. The body for the Slash/Slayer looks like it would fit right on my Jammin buggy.
