To me this is the promoter putting their agenda in front of the hobby. Instead of being a trendsetter and being one of the first large events to host an 1/8 electric class, they just turn their backs. I still haven't heard a valid reason why they don't want to run one. I think the electric 1/8 conversion thread may be the largest one on RC Tech and that definitely speaks volumes and should be an indication. We have Losi and Caster Racing with electric conversion available from retail and I am sure that Associated is brewing something.

Oh well, I will be there with my 1/10 4wd and Slash. I was hoping to go and have fun with my 1/8 scale also.

Kinda hard to say. The first year, the track stayed loose and loamy the entire weekend. Last year it was loose early on during the day on saturday but grooved up by the end of day Saturday. I saw alot of holeshots and grooved track tires ran on Sunday. I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday working on the track build, I'll try to post online as to what the surface looks like.
