Also, OS makes the new Mugen Ninja motors and Byrons makes the Mugen fuel. Kinda strange if OS doesn't like Byrons fuel.

Let me guess, they recomended Odonell? imagine that...

I have been running Gen 2 since testing began, I have not had any issues with it.. engines run great, great mileage, good temps.... maybe there was a bad batch out there...

O.S. told you that to make you think it was the fuel and not thier faulty motors. O.S. has had LOTS of problems out of the v-specs. I have never heard of anybody having problems with byrons fuel

o.s has had alot of problems since they made changes in there 08 motors i got luckey and got an 07 version and i have like 5 gallons in it and its still going strong and ive been using 30% Gen II fuel

vspec are becoming a garbage motor. i have had 3 go bad within 2 gallons, on odonnels, TQ and gen 2. My first 2 vspec went 8 gallons.

It is possible if your fuel was previously opened, moisture could cause a problem if it was left out or whatever.
2x RB WS7's went 10 Gallons each no conrod replacement. First one switched from other fuel 3 gallons in.

Engines are engines, so many things can go wrong. Something as simple as a miniscule crack in a tank to the tinyest piece of grit or moisture or an tiny air leak in the carb yadda yadda yadda. To blame a fuel so well proven seems a little crazy. Time is better spent looking for the problem and making sure it doesn't happen again. Personally, two engines go bad and i know i am not at fault... time to switch engine brand...
