I will be buying this engine no matter what. It's not that I have the money to burn. My OS Speed is still running strong after 5 gallons.

I am hearing very good reviews on the JX21 or RB C6, but never seen them run. In my area its all OS, SH and rarely Nova's (very expensive piston/sleeve set).

I'll give you $50.00 (shipped) for that five gallon Speed! LOL

I'm leaning towards the JX21 as my next big engine purchase. The Speed (and this Hara Edition) is just too dang much moola for this part-time club racer. Big for me (and my budget) is over $200...

I love those OS carbs. Aways have. Tuning majic and crazy runtime.

Yes they are salty, but what a motor! Mine lost compression & started to flame out on its 10th gallon. Put out some serious power 'til it wouldn't stay running. New p/s/r, a set of tko's and a trip to eb mods for a modified head button & back plate & it's stronger than new. Pulls hard out of a corner & never runs out of steam down the straight.

Xcustoms does great work. Ship him your head and for $40 you get a bad looking head that is lighter and runs cooler
