I am sorry, my understanding was incorrect.

See attached some pics of our track. I am currently running Medium Crossbrace and I-Beams combo on buggy after trying Proline Caliber, Badlands etc. AKA Combo seems to work well.

Dont have any for the Truggy. Running some basic tires from HongNor. Any suggestions on which compound will work good for us?

It looks like it won't be much longer till the new truggy tires come out. Quote- "Rumor has it that Mark was running prototype Truggy wheels due to release in January sometime". On top of it all AKA has a ton of blow out deals on truggy tires selling on their website.

I'm really excited and can't wait till the new truggy tires come out!

There's an ad in the latest RCDriver magazine about the new truggy tires.

Looks like the current truggy treads (Cityblock, I-Beam, Gridiron) are staying, but there's now a 4th option....a truggy Crossbrace. New wheels, with a buggy style bead (like a VTR, but ROAR legal size), and new foams.

Gonna have to try out a set or two when they come out.

Default The "hype" begins...

Neo does a good job of keeping us informed but the recent release on the new AKA truggy line is a little bit more in depth than what they lead it to be. I would think Mark will do some video or something later to explain but I am sure there are many loyal AKA users who want to know. The cat is out of the bag so I want to get the hype going

Wheel - typical EVO style, concave vice the current convex wheel. Shorter outer radial ring which it makes it a little bit easier to get the foam on when installing.

The truggy foam - Feels gooood

Grids - pins are little bit more dense. You will get longer life out of your tires due to more rubber on the contact patch.

City Blocks - Narrower carcass than the first version (all tires are), not a whole lot change otherwise (i think)

I-Beams - these look really good! buggy size pins, not sure if its same spacing as buggy but definately more dense than version 1. I am banking on these becoming a lot more popular. I think the set-up is going to be c.block on the front with these on the rear, on those loamy tracks that is.

Impacts - Truggy size World Champion tread design.

We are doing are best to get these out by Nitro Challenge. I am almost 100% sure they will be in stores by then. Availability? That's a different story...

I hope you guys are REALLY flattered, because it seems like every day, there's some clown of a company making a knock-off of your tires and inserts. They say it's the best form of flattery, but I don't know if you can handle any more flattery, just sayin... ;o) Fortunately, they can only copy the way it looks...

Happy recent B-day Gil!
