I ordered mine yesterday, they take paypal, and they will ship them to you from UK. They have no US distributors yet. But I could not resist. $18 for 3 high wear Aluminum clutch shoes, with 3 sets of springs?! That's a smokin deal

I'm not really sure I understand your reply? AE uses different clutch shoes than everyone, but Losi. I run standard shoes in my 808, and they are not $12, and your shoes don't come with 3 sets of springs, and your shoes don't have the raised bevel, so washers are not needed, and your shoes don't say high wear, and while I am sure Impulse makes great clutch shoes, so does Jammin, and Mugen, and Kyosho, etc. etc. But none of them have the raised bevel, and none of them come with 9 springs, and none of them are $18.............which brings me to my point in the first place............smokin deal!!!!

Visit there website, they make standard, Losi style, and AE style shoes. Jammin takes standard, unless you changed the flywheel, and clutch bell to Losi, or AE

Do these come with free shipping? If not, the shipping can't be cheap to send them overseas to U.S., therefore making the deal not as attractive. If shipping is free, then hell yea! I wouldn't mind getting a set for my RC8...

Hey guys I bought some direct a few weeks ago. I just got to try them out this last weekend at a local club race. My first impression is that they work quite well.
Here is the setup I used.
8ight buggy with oem heavy steel flywheel
OS Speed vspec with OS 2060 pipe
stock gearing 48/13 tight to medium track with some traction issuses.
Losi Eclipse(red) with stock foam
Mike truhe setup with flex chassis

Answer 4 shoe clutch for 8ight I went back and forth between all 4 soft springs and 2 soft and 2 medium.

The softer clutch setup helps with traction but the shoes were looking like they were starting to wear a bit after a few practices and the first heat.
Not wear in a bad way but similar to a dynamite maxlife in a way.

The 2 soft 2 med seamed to be a good mix of smooth delivery with a little kick. less shoe wear. I think I liked this the best.

I will be going to columbus CRCRC some time soon so I hope to see what this clutch does with a track that has gobs of traction.

Over all a nice clutch for the money.

My driving is to not be a point and shoot driver or throttle jockey but to try and be as smooth as i can. So this setup may not work for you. if you want more punch/rip out of the cluch I would think an all med. spring setup or 2 med. and 2 hard setup would work well.

I do not work for Answer-RC but I will tell you my experience. I inquired about them, and Pete quoted me $38.80 USD including shipping for 2 sets of standard style shoe kits with springs, so I guess he added $2.80 total for shipping. That's cheeper than US shipping. I think right now they are just trying to get them out there, and not really makin a whole lotta money.

I drive for answer rc,

and yes pete is an absolute gem of a bloke.

The clutch shoes are very good i have actually ditched my fioroni set up for them, the value is also great if you consider you get 3 sets of springs with the shoes for the price you wont get much better.

If you have any questions ill do my best to answer them if not ill ask pete for you if you cant get hold of him
