I had a blast, and it sucks to get on here and see all the trash talk, but it is a norm on the internet i guess, but whatever.

Adam and Mike seemed pretty cool, i didnt talk to them much, but saw them helping alot of people all weekend. Mike is pretty good with a hacky sack also, lol. Lutz is a machine with the controller and in the pits. I sat and talked to him some while he did some wrenching, he can go through his vehicles like a robot on an assembly line, pretty amazing. Super nice guy as well, hope I didnt get on his nerves with all the questions, especially with me having pretty much no voice at all.

Degani, big thanks for all your help and advice with the new Z-Car, it was a hard decision between running the Hyper 9 or the Z-car for PNB. In the end it came down to knowing that there would be spares readily available for the Z-Car from Paul at Z-Carusa and that you would be there as well. This was my first time really with the z-car on track, saturday was spent playing with set-ups and learning the track and I had a blast. I was in good position in the sportsman buggy e-main to bump up but couldnt decide on correct tires for the tacky conditions. My choice cause alot of traction wheelies and alot of traction rolling off the back straght corner but did figure out the best way around it and managed to move up through the feild some after horrible start.

I had been sick the week leading up to the race, then during the race I had no voice, so if you spoke with a guy wearing a mechanics jacket with the name "Jason" on it and he had no voice, lol, that was me, made pitting for my buddy pure hell, lol. I did have a blast still though, only slept 4 hours from 6am friday morning till the end sunday night, was a long continuous day for me. I tried to help anyone and everyone i could. I volunteered to TM for about 3 hours worth during practice friday, jumped in an TM'd for Degani on sunday morning, and was there to help with track work any time.

Thanks to everyone that had anything to do with this event...... organizers, hobby shops, racers, turn marshals, food vendors, free monster energy drinks, etc. I am ready to do it all over again this weekend, can we? 2 Psycho Nitro Blast events a year? lol

Dave and Ollie thanks again for another great event. I as always had a great time. I must say last year's track was good but this year's track, design and maintenance was amazing! I cannot wait to do it again, its ashame this is a semi-annual race. See you guys in March for the Battle at the Beach #7.

Yes, the record was set at 143' 7.5". It was pretty cool to see. Was scary to see an 1/8 scale off-road car go that fast. Seriously, the thing was doing around 70 mph. That is the kind of speed that one would expect out on an 8th on-road car, but it was crazy to see that off-road car hauling like that.

They marked it at 144' but nobody ever said what the original record was. It could have been the first time tried with an 1/8 scale buggy.
