This race sounds awesome!! Only 11 hours drive time!!!! But just to chime a little on the classes.. I see everybodies points and are good ones. I myself would like to see an expert class. I would have no prob runnin pro but I dont get to run every week like most "pro" drivers do if they'er sponsered or not. But for me in the expert class just fits very well for those reasons... Like for instance, if i can make this race most likely i will have only run maybe 5 or 6 times leading up to the race. Now I dont think I'm slow but I wont be as polished like the "pro" leverl guys who run a lot.

Now obviously if you cant field that many in each class then yea I can see only running a "pro" and "sportsman". And would have no prob with that. I only hope to see this grow where we can see it happen. And the way 1/8th has grown in the past 4 years i dont think it would be a prob. haha

With that being said I might try to run Pro Series this year if that "Expert" class is there.

Just some of my nickles worth..

i really hope that you can make it. our problem is that this is our 1st year and we are not sure that we can feild three different classes so we are going with pro and sportsman this year and then we will be able to see what we can do next year because this race will be back for years to come

I don't think it will have that much sand in it....The people that are putting on this race are great people and i know this will be a smash hit....the facility is a great place to have the race and you can count on these people to put on a first class event...

Well down south we have red clay. this packs very well and will blue groove. one of our local tracks (Hotshots) had alot of sand put in the mixture..i haven't heard what they are getting for the track but i am sure it will be red clay that will pack very good...maybe keith or tim could chime in...Hey Tim

Well I will be coming up the week prior to due tractor work and I think our plans is to have a hard pack track that wont blow out and at the same time wont eat up tires. Somewhat similar to the SIC this year.
