Default Werks B7 SG shaft wear.Any ideas

I seem to have gotten alot of wear under the clutch bearings at about 3 gals i've ran an STS & RB in same mbx5 with no signs wear. I think it may have been a little too thin to began with. This engine has always ate up clutch bearings for no apperent reason but I've always changed them out before they went real bad. Has anyone cut off the shaft and used the nut with the shaft on it."don't know the name" These parts shafts seem real hard. If you have done this how was the results. Post moved from engine forum for lack of intrest.
