Default OS Speed Help?

I recently purchased the new aluminum head os speed vspec. This is my first os motors in years and definitely my first speed motor. Is the break in the same for this engine as every other engine? If not, let me know how you did it. Also please give me any useful info and/or tips on this motor. All help is much appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Break in for the Speed is the same as any other engine I've had. I'm sure you'll find it very easy to tune and appreciate the smooth power band.

Yea that's what I had assumed about break in just wasn't sure. Which plug can you recommend?

P3's have been successful for me as well. I've run my Speed with O.S. 2050 & 2060 as well as the JP3. All three pipes work very well with this motor.

more run time and cooler temps with the os pipe. the jp pipes have more back pressure. to clean pipes use the antifreeze in the crockpot overnight and it cleans inside and out. just letting ya know

Im gonna actually try the jp4 instead of the jp3 I think. I wanna give that a try and if that doesn't work I will go back to the drawing board and possibly go with the os 2060

I would run a P4 w/a 2060, and the 8mm stack.
