Hi there.

I added Norway as a country that we ship to. When you register, just select either "No State" or "Other (Non U.S.)" as your province/state.

Hi, again. Thanks for fast reply!
One more question; is the shipping that pops up right? 25$ is quite cheap! Or is it just a standard amout that is set in your system?
Last one; can you write down the value for the items or mark them as a gift(to 50$), the I will save 25% on taxes..

Hi, I was visiting your site some days ago and bought the Xray 808 kit from you via paypal.
When checking out the kit was free shipping.. That must be wrong, anyway have you registred the order?
And if needed send me an invoice for the shipping!
Best Erlend

Hi there.

I appologize for the delay, I've been on vacation for a few days.

It looks like we sold our last XB808 1.9 seconds before you finalized your purchase. More are shipping to me next week. If you want to wait a week, let me know. If this doesn't work for you I will refund the paypal payment.

If you do decide to wait I will have to send you a separate invoice for the shipping. You didn't fill in a province, so our website lost it's mind. I have fixed this issue.

Regards;
Cory.

Hi, thats okay.
I can wait, coz the prize is very good. Here in Norway it cost something like 900US$..
Just send me the invoice for the shipping when it is in stock.
Best Erlend

Sorry for the delay; the kits have been stuck in customs. They have cleared and we should be getting our orders out on Monday afternoon. If anything canges I will let you know, but you should have your buggy in about 11-14 days.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I want to cancel my order on the Xray kit.
Just send the money back to my paypal account.
Ìt has taken 1,5 month and nothing has happened.. Poor customer service IMO.

Well, i did not think you sendt it at all..?
You have not sendt me any notification on that.
Have you got a trackingnumber?

It is not my intensions to sound rude, but usually things og a lot faster for the states to Norway.
When did you send it?

Best Erlend

So this is how it ends..
I did trust him to much, noew time has runnned up for med the paypal protection program lasts for 45 days after registtered payment

So much for beliving in people

What do you think?

Now invoice or shipping notification, no reply to trackingnumber.

Whoa Dude...a little over reaction for ya...? Drama Queen-ish?

Like Cory said, we can't control Customs....from the sounds of it, they got stuck in customs which sucks, but as soon as Cory got them he sent yours out.

I understand that it took a while, but when you were told that they were delayed, but being shipped out the following Monday, you should have made your decision then. Not to mention it's obvious that he hasn't shipped to Norway before...so how would he know the postal schedule. Whereas you quite obviously have bought overseas before, and know the shipping time frames.

Don't forget....you did say...

Cory is a SUPER stand-up guy and has bent over backwards for the RC community in Canada and particularly Alberta, I wouldn't second guess dealing with him ever.

Those of you reading this unfortunate post, please read carefully and understand that by the sounds of it, Cory did what he could to get that kit out ASAP, and has not done anything wrong.

Give it some time to get there, and once it does, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

By the way...Falsifying postal documents is a FEDERAL offense and carries a VERY HEAVY fine...if anyone is a little shady here...look in the mirror.

PS> This just got me going...I know that we should all be aware and on our toes to protect ourselves and others in the RC community from scams, but threads like this, by a newbie, from a VERY long distance, with a questionable complaint, should be closely monitored. It's tough enough to get a successful business going in this industry without people potential destroying an entire market (online in this case) with just a few words, from behind a keyboard, without a giving the other party a reasonable chance to respond.

All that to say, beware of thread titles, there are many a drama queen/keyboard commando out there.

Deastyboy , I hope you have right in your assumptions.
This is the only way I can do try to make him react.
I have been doing a lot of online shopping with the US and Asia, and it will never take more than 2 weeks in shipping.

I agree....get a response VIA E-MAIL. No need to tear the guy's business down on an international forum, specially when it's not even his fault things were delayed.

Also, shipping from the US and Asia WILL be different than Canada, particularly with different shipping routes, rules, and likely even companies.

What?! TheHobbyRoom did nothing wrong. They're a great online store.

Cory has been very good to me and I couldn't be happier with his customer service.

I think you need to calm down.

Cory is a great guy and wouldn't intentionally try to mislead anyone.

I am sure there is some sort of misunderstanding somewhere along the line.

I have done thousands... yes thousands of dollars of business with Cory and the Hobby Room... They cannot control there suppliers and or the government ( customs ).

There has been no " fraud " here, you might want too think about changing the title. I know one thing, Cory and his business partners do not take kindly too false accusations.

Just my .02 worth.

Dude...log in to your account and look @ your tracking number -- was updated weeks ago. Here it is:

CC 108 181 624 CA

The item has left Canada and should be trackable by most norwiegen postal outlets.

Sounds like there may have been a communication issue on both parts. Unfortunately Canada gets stiffed when it comes to shipping products internationally.

elliotxxx I'd hope that you change this title as it's a fraud.

Far from a "fraud," I'd call Cory about the best salesperson I've ever dealt with over many years in the hobby.
He sticks to his word, goes out of his way to find what you're looking for and is always available if you have a question about your order.
And the Hobby Room's prices can't be beat. Here in Canada they are sometimes well below everyone else.

All Ive heard of Cory is positive things. Im having hard time believing he'd stiff anyone. No doubt shipping to/from canada is a major PITA.
When the day comes this has been settled, you may want to post an apology.

Request that moderators remove this thread or change the title ASAP. You jumped to conclusions and publically chastised a guy in error. You owe it to him to at least have it removed immediatley and at most post an apology and retraction of your intial claim. Fraud is a strong word to use, especially considering you were wrong.

As for the rest of us, calling each other names doesn't help and only serves to escalate a situation. State your point but don't belittle. Mature behavior goes a long way.
