How to clean a pipe??
I have 2 pipes that both have built up gunk on the outside due to fuel spillage and what not. Anyways what is the best way to clean the pipe. I have on that is hard coated and one that is chromed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wipe off the loose stuff, take the pipe outside & place it on a peice of cardboard (you will have to throw the carboard away when done). Spray the pipe with EASY-OFF oven cleaner & let it sit for 20+ minutes then hose it off. You may need to repeat if it was really gunky. Were rubber gloves when handling the pipe with the Easy-Off on it. This work great & requires almost no muscle work. DO NOT USE EAZY-OFF ON BLACK COATED PIPES, it will take the black coating off.

the best way to get a pipe clean is to get a gallon of berrymans b19 chem dip. its about 16 dollars i got mine at auto zone. toss the pipe right in the gallin can and let it sit for a day or 2 and then remove and rinse with water. pipe will look brand new both inside and out. also use rubber gloves its actually a serious chemical

For the best way to clean the pipe after cooking, turn of the pot and let it cool down a little (trust me, it was super hot when it was still on)...cleaning the pipe off while they are WARM is the best.
The final cleaning actually does not need to scrub, they are almost like a thin layer of 'black stuff", you just need to wipe it off, very easy.
Just buy the straight Anti-freeze for the MAX performance, don't buy the pre-mixed 50/50 one...this is the one I use from Walmart, $9.99 and the pod I got from the same place $9.99.
Fine...I might as well post the rest of the process pictures

Be carful not to boil on stove my friend did this with pure antifreeze to clean boat motor wasn't watching and had flames to the ceiling. Two more minutes and the house would of been on fire.I didn't know antifreeze would even burn.He didn't know either until now.I am sure he had it alot hotter than a crock pot would ever get though.

I wet sand all my pipes clean.. obviously the polished ones aren't polished anymore, but at least their not covered in dirt. The Hard Coated ones come out like new...
