everytime i take it off the track i use an air compressor (all my local tracks have them there) and i blow off all the dirt. then at the end of the day i spray it off once then i take my tires off and spray WD-40 all over the car and blow all the Exxcess off. alot of people use simple green but i cant see the point in using a degreeser because it gets in bearings and such and starts breaking down the greese

thats cuz we dont DRENCH out trucks in Simple green....we use it on our toothbrush's and paintbrush's to clean the car off properly .....Not just Blast it with Wd and hope everything comes off......and all WD does is make it "look" new with all the Grunge stull under that shine.

srtlongbow123 Get down and dirty...take it apart and do it properly....Not just a Joe schmo job...take your time.

A screwdriver, air compressor, and a tooth brush.

I hate using anything water based to clean my car. I try to avoid it at all costs. I dont want stuff to rust on me.

I dont like using wd-40 either as it will eat the grease in the bearings just the same but at least it wont rust things so when its just too much to handle without some sort of liquid to soften it all up I will use it. Do not allow that stuff to get on or into your engine because it will cause the seals to swell.

Money spent on a good compressor and high pressure nozzle is money well spent. I have a Porter Cable 150psi pancake compressor and a Snap-on unregulated nozzle. Most nozzles are regulated to 30-50psi The unregulated ones really do a much better job.

Min PSI required is i would say 100PSi....ive seen some small dinky compressors over the years and those Little one's that take 20min to fill up are Junk.....one corner of the car and the tank is already empty.
