Yep, that is very true. If you do like Adam says do with the engine it will be a good engine for you. I have 3 of them and one so far has lasted me a long time. One thing Adam showed me(that I now show others in my area) is that most try to tune it backwards. As in a lean top end and a rich bottom needle. It runs hotter, consumes more fuel and is not near as smooth. I run mine with the small restrictor and it's plenty of engine.

ok thanks Adam, the matrix concepts carbon fiber chassis is about that long too I think.. only problem i have is the rear center driveshaft pops out sometime.. So I had put spacers to move the shaft foward a little.

Adam, I been breaking-in my GRP tuned .21 Promo motor. Had about 7 tanks on it . 5 on idle and 2 just driving around. I been taking the temp on the glo-plug with my odonnell temp gauge and its been reading around 230F. I did remember richening the low and high speed needle about 1/2 turn out but with the motor running kinda hot, now im not sure if the setting is correct anymore. I do see oil spit out the pipe at high speed idle and when I drive it, I get a nice stream of blue smoke. Whats the rich factory setting on the low and high speed needle (turns from closed). By the way, the engines head is not wrapped to keep warm.

Adam,
On the 2.0 I am told that the HD diff cups will not be stock. So are the diff cups on the 2.0 the old style stockers or some kind of new/ better cup? The HD diff cups worked very well with zero failures for me and I am hoping the 2.0 stockers will be the same. Thanks in advance.

Smoothone,

The new diff cases that come stock in the 2.0 are completely different than the old stock ones. They have been completely redesigned and last way longer.

DD,
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully they will be lighter and perform better than the HD ones did.

Dan, I received my car today, it looks really good. Now I have to wait a few weeks to try it out.
