sometimes when you loosen the screw you may have to tap(the part that holds the carb) in order to break it's hold. I'm talking about the part that the screw goes into if that makes sense. Just back the screw out a little and tap on the head of the screw. Then twist back and forth on the carb.

Maybe Adam has a better way but that might work.

I had both of those peices out of the case. I could spin the carb 60* but couldnt pull it. I will try heating it up tonight.

Adam,

This is a more of a political question, and don't mean to go off topic, but I have a concern. Our hobby can be a fragile hobby sometimes, and can be affected drastically by small events. I am living in Canada, but the hobby up here is pretty much dependent on what's going on in your neck of the woods. With whats going on with the US economy do you think Losi (and other companies) will survive? (now that Losi is owned by Horizon maybe that will help) The Hobby has seen some real advancements in a short period of time, it would be a real shame to see it all disappear, only to start all over again in a year (or more??) or so. I just hope that in the tough times ahead RC'ers will do their best to keep our awesome hobby alive! Just curious to hear your thoughts as you probably have a closer view of what's going on behind the doors of the retail/whole sale doors, as much of us are stuck on the outside simply looking for the best deal!

Thanks again for giving us your time and your help, it's good to see some one like your self helping us little guys out.

Louis

Hi Adam,

Back with the 1.0, one of the upgrades was to install the Mugen wide offset wheel hubs (2mm) will this apply to the 2.0?

Bigedmond- Try heating it up a little.

KyJoe340- Start with the kit set-up, but change the front camber link to the short hole on the castor block.

Integra- It will all be cleared up very soon. I wish I could say more, but I will be able to fill everyone in very soon.

DHC6- Times are tuff, but I think you will see more cut backs in spending on high dollar items. RC isn't cheap, but compared to karting, jet ski's, dirt bikes, quads, ect.. I'm sure RC will be hit and slow a little, but it's here to stay.

CurtDawg- Mike and I fly in on Monday night and Matt Chambers and Dustin Evans will be at the electric race.

cota348- Would you please explain more?

Hey adam,
Will the 2.0 radio tray fit on the 1.0? Will the 2.0 body fit on the 1.0?

The Body will fit on either buggy. And the 2.0 radio tray works in a 1.0, you just need to get longer rods for your linkage.

Hi Adam,

The wheel offset (2mm) wider made the car (Losi 8 1.0) somewhat more stable in the rough, since the geometry of the 2.0 has change somewhat the question is to use or not to use the wheel offsets.

In other words, I still have the 1.0 (for sell now, just got a 2.0) should I pull the offsets out to keep them for the 2.0?

Thanks
