Default STS D28M

Thought i'd fuel this thread up a litlle.......
I've owned an sts D.28M 3 port engine in a Kyosho landmax. I've also owned a Kyosho GS.21, a Traxxas TRX3.3, a JP Racing s12, a SH .28 and an RB Concept C5c .21, and a In my experience I've found the STS D28M to be very explosive yet reliable and easy to tune.
They're not capable of the screaming top end that the Italian motors seem to effortlessly get to but they do have a very impressive amount of power never the less.
To STS's credit, I've now ordered a new D30M 5 port bump start for my Kyosho MP777 Buggy. Not to say they are the best engines out there but in my opinion, for the money, nothing even comes close.
STS power!!!

My Rig.....
Nomadio React
Kyosho MP777 SP2
1. Modified RB C5 (9+3 port)
2. Modified SH .28 (3 port)
3. STS D30M (coming soon)

a 30m in a buggy? yeah, for the money they are very good. i've had 2 21b's, $120 every 5 or 6 months and they are good throw away motors. feels like being sponsored, break-em in and run them into the ground, after about a gallon order your next one and around gallon 4 when one dies just throw in the new one.

I have a d21e in my jammin, like it alot but the tuning of it is puzzling to me. I am at the 1 gallon mark and this mill is liking 1 3/4 out on top and threads showing on bottom good power all around and good smoke, just wondering if these needle settings are common with these mills.

edit:

oh yeah running a 053 pipe and it is temping at 200-215
