Got both.

For me the RB C6 has more, both TOP and BOTTOM end. The GRP is much easier to drive with a much better throttle curve, the C6 is pretty aggressive. I get slightly better fuel milage out of the GRP.

If I could have only one it'd be the RB, I feel it's slighly better made as I've had one go 5gallon race tuned, I've also had a GRP go bad with 2gallon on it, BUT they warrantied it, so ain't all bad. I would still buy another

Both are VERY good motors, If your not a seasoned racer I'd get the GRP I believe you'll make it around the track faster with it, If your a VERY controlled driver the C6 maybe the way to go...

Got to ask, I've read the title post a number of times now and Don't see OS Speed mentioned once, so I guess he's not considering it for whatever reason. RB C6 or GRP ??

I've had a speed also, very good. But it wasn't a motor we were asked for an opinion on.

IMHO the C6 BB is not a good buggy motor. To much bottom = wheel spin = slow

GRP (like the speed) is a very smooth powerful motor, great fuel mileage, easy tuning and revs to the moon.
I run O.S. but the GRP's are similar and would be an excellent buggy motor.

We have been driving RB for a couple of years but this year it sux with all problem that the enginges stops.

This year we have been driving GRP and the engine is very good. After 15 competitions we had no issues with the engines att all ..... and the only bearing we have changed is one in front. With RB C6 you have to change the bearings all the time.

He didn't mention it, but if your going to title a thread with "BEST MOTOR AS OF TODAY" then the O.S. definitely rates a mention... A lot of people here would say that it's a better motor than both of the others listed

bashing your former sponsor in one of the biggest rc-forums won`t make you a lot of friends in the industry. it`s not the kind of behavour i would expect from a sponsored top-driver (or his mechanic/father).

Between those two, I would go with the RB. But the best motor out now IMO is the OS Speed. A ton of power with super long run time with the 2050 or JP3 pipe

I bet Truhe wished he picked OS vs GRP as his motor sponser. Fuel mileage IMO lost him the World Championship. Lost by a few seconds, he had to pit an extra time vs the OS Speed racers in the A-Main there.
