1.4 seconds is a small Bobble....a wheel rub.....a drift into the corner.....that's Close racing....My hats off to Hara.

it was an absolute blast to watch and be there in person. the crowd was cheering the whole race, air horns by the mugen team, and oohs and aaahs all day.

Looked like Hara was taking it easy the last 3 or 4 minutes, too. 46 second laps compared to Truhe pushing with 44 second laps. Announcers mentioned it during the race. That's why it seemed like Truhe caught up.

i would'nt of picked hara either, but it does'nt surprise me. an electric sedan racer of his caliber is going to have superior throttle control, reflexes, and car set-up knowledge.
congrats to hb and hara

Hara had a 12 second lead, so it was better to play it safe and that was the only reason why Truhe was able to get closer to him...

it most likely would have been a different outcome if maifield didnt flame out, or have to pit more then hara because of fuel economy, the os speed helped him in that department

Congrats to Hara, his pit man, Josh Alton and the rest of the Hot Bodies team! Quite an upset for the favored American drivers and companies, for many of the reasons already stated.

Sounded like it was an exciting final and hard to believe that Truhe finished just 1 or 2 seconds behind after 60 minutes. That's gotta be heartbreaking, especially after months and months of preparation and practice...regardless, congrats to Mike and Team Losi for such a strong result.

I bet you will see a ton of excuses pretty soon from them too as to why they did not win or they will try and blow it off and forget about it but we all know that if Mugen of Kyosho or X-ray would have won they would be talking WAY MORE crap then any of us would be just to justify the money they spent.
I agree 100%. Some of the current and new buggy kits from a few maunufacturers are way overpriced (No need to name names, we all know which ones they are). There are some that are willing to pay the astronomical price just because it was a winner at a major event. I hope this goes to show those manufacturers that a "Low Budget Buggy Kit" can be competitive and win. Hopefully since a kit that cost under $400 won the Worlds, those high dollar manufacturers will also consider dropping their prices for kits and parts...I think that is not likely going to happen tough.
