Yup!
Haven't seen a single review that wasn't out long after a car or truck was released.
Haven't ever seen them use the word "sucks," and I've seen them overlook common items that fail after people buy them. They seem more interested in advertising dollars than telling the truth.
I don't think driving an rc qualifies one as a driver.

r/c car... they arent' afraid to speak their opinions on products.

rc drivers tests just plain suck. I want to know why that Corally Phi costs $500 so I'd like to see BIG pictures of the chassis, NOT 5 pictures of a mediocre paint job on a sedan body going around the track. Xtreme is the same way. I feel they're showcasing the painters work rather than the car itself. We all know what a 1/8 buggy looks like on the track, show me why that Kyosho costs $700 ( pics of the arms, suspension, diffs, etc..) I guess these are the "money shots".

RCCA- do we really need another T-Maxx/ Revo comparison??????

The last mag I bought was thrown in the trash 5 minutes after buying it.

Xtreme rc car is my favorite because it is well written, has good information/tips and also has some humor thrown in. Just my opinion.
+ 1. rc driver and rc car action have the same exact words and pictures in them, it's like you pay for 2 mags but only get 1

I read Transworld Mx, motocross action and dirtbike are to much into the woods racing, anyways so i guess its Xtreme Rc?

I have been wanting to know this for some time. I see several different R/C mags at the newstand and I wasn't sure which one to subscribe to. I would like a mag to tell it like it is and not give a good review of something just because the manufacturer pays big money to advertise in their mag.

Thanks for the opinions guys.

I don't want to look at naked girls in a R/C magazine or be humored. I need
straight racer facts; R/C Car does that best.

I've always read RCCA and been pretty happy with coverage. I was subscribed to RC Driver for awhile but its exactly the same as RCCA so I probably won't renew. I believe the last R/C Car mag I bought was when the E-Maxx was released so I really don't remeber how well it was put together.

I just wish the magazines would actually say whats junk about a car instead of candy coating it, if the car is crap, say it! maybe do a one or two month follow up or something and then do another review.

There all biased to ad dollars. All way better than RC boater that tests toys and tell you that they are fast. Although it looks like they are coming around a bit last one i thumbed in LHS had some real boat racers in it.Forums are better to get the low down on any probs, glad I looked into a couple used Mugen prospects for my daughter and I first .Or we would of busted up alot of lesser bugs first and not be able to resell them for about what got in them.
