Default Receiver problems

Hey all,
Got my Exceed RC Nitro buggy yesterday and when I installed the batteries, it seemed like it was receiving a ton of interference. So as I started break in procedures, it got worse and worse. Now, when I turn both the RC on and control on, the steering servo clicks to life, but no throttle, no response from input and no other signs of life. I think its dead hahaaha. My newb input.

anyway, the RC didn't cost much in the first place (120 shipped) but I would like to at least use it. I need to know what I should get for a new receiver. Here is all I know about the one in it....

RECEIVER INFO:
AM 2 Channel
SP-03030
with an AM 27.175 R90 pill

What would work to replace??? Thanks for a quick reply, wanna order parts tonight~

put the steering servo wire in the throttle hole on the rx and see it that servo works...

if not its the rx, if it works its the throttle servo

Thanks! I should have been more clear, NEITHER accepts input now. Just seems like the actual radio part of the receiver is dead... What would be a GOOD CHEAP WATERPROOF replacement lol?
