you will have the + from one battery going to the - of the other, then generally the other + will go to the switch. And the - goes to a motor. so it's looks like a triangle. I'd take picts, but i use a 12v gel cell now.

you want 14.8 volts going to the starter box motor
2 stick packs in series: 7.4 + 7.4 volts = 14.8 volts

so
-connect 1 positive stick pack wire to 1 negative stick pack wire
(this puts them in series)

-you will have 1 positive wire free on a stick pack, and 1 negative wire free on the other stick pack

-connect positive to positive, and negative to negative on the box motor. reversing the polarity connection will just make the starter box wheel spin in the other direction. the direction, depends on what type of vehicle you are starting and its orientation relative to the box

*phew* ok good luck

another question, seems like with a full charge that the motors dont have enough torque or something?? when i charged the batteries it only runs for a few seconds then starts to die(meaning the batteries seem to die)?? is it my batteries??

I would think it's the batterys. How old are they and how long has it been from the last charge?

unplug the batteries when the box isn't needed. They will slowly drain themselves. Overnight seems pretty quick, though. I think your packs might be due for replacement

Can your charger cycle? Set up for 3 cycles - discharge, then charge. If the batts don't show improvement after 3 cycles, its time for some new ones. If they are dead overnite, suspect they're done for.
