Default somethings wrong

i had a problem with my truck (traxxas nitro stampede) something electrical when it got like fifty feet away it wouldnt respond and it would go full throttle. i thought it was maybe the batteries in the truck or maybe the remote, so i replaced them and its still doing the same thing i am new to this whole thing so i dont really know what it could be any help would be great.. thanks, jon

Check your antenna and see if its tore any. If so that will be causing your problems

+ 1 Jamie22 also ck you crystals make sure the are pushed in all the way in recever

the antenna looks good it was the first thing i checked.

i also checked the crystals, and also put some di-electric grease on the connections. do the crystals go bad ever???

Same thing happened to me before with a tmaxx. My mistake was I forgot to pull up the antenna on the radio haha. Apparently the rtr radio doesnt work very well with the antenna down. If thats not it I would try blasting the receier with a little contact cleaner.

Crystals can break
