Default What is my buggy worth?

Mugen mbx5 buggy
jr9100t steering servo
spektrum throttle servo (junk one)
LRP .28 engine, not even a gallon through, pullstart version, includes brand new cooling head that hasnt been used yet.
jp-4 pipe
12, 13, 14, and 18t clutch. all brand new
brand new clutch set-up (collet, shoes, springs, clutch, flywheel) waiting to be installed when needed (the current one is still very new)
spektrum dx3.0 radio with 8 AA rechargeable batteries
sr3000 receiver, very good condition.
dynamite 1500mah battery pack
piranha digital charger
Dubro E/Z glow igniter with a beep to test if the glow plug is bad or not.
extra 44t spur gear for mbx5 buggy (stock)
sportwerks clutch tool
1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 mm allen wrenches (team integy)
set of advantage ZZs on white dish rims, 80% tread left
set of new bowties M3 on white dish rims, 95% thread left.
RMV PBR Special progressive Shock Springs - soft
racers edge temp gun
panther tire bands
extra upper arms
pretty much a full set of screws for the whole mbx5 buggy
extra clutch bearings
extra 5x8 bearings
3 novarossi mc8 glow plugs, unopened

thats about all I can think of atm.

what do you guys figure this is all worth, I am thinking of getting outta the hobby but if this wont sell for very much, I will keep it.

but buggy is overall 4/5 condition, I didnt race it, the whole buggy has had 3 gallons through it. It could use a small cleaning then it is practically a brand new buggy.

I think its all worth around 600$ even though I paid nearly 2000.

Better pics would be nice...but all in all. If this is a 5, and not a 5R, even with all of the included equipment, I don't think it'd fetch more than $400.
Lot's of folks out there right now trying to unload their 5Rs and not having much luck getting high dollar because of the impending release of the MBX6. You could try this. If you have an Ebay acct, post it on there. Preferrably with better pics. Inlcude a pic of the bottom of the chassis and also from the rear, trying to focus on the bottom. One of the biggest tell tale signs of how worn a chassis is, is the rear bottom portion. If yours is in good shape, meaning it is blunt, not so sharp you could shave with it, then you should post a pic of it. Anyway, when you fill out your add, put in a reserve. Basically by doing this, you are setting "the lowest" price you are willing to sell for. Bidders will not see what your reserve is...only that you have one set. Good luck.

ok, I just remembered, I lost the small lid for the radio box :'( thats only a 5$ part though...

more pics, very high quality, save into desktop and zoom in to see more details. there is more than what is in the pics, IE: small tools, shock spacers, screws and nuts, etc...

and this is why im selling the rc car:

Good luck selling the car. I have 12 R/C cars at the moment and recently tried to sell 2 of them and had a hard time. I think with the economy being the way it is (BAD). A lot of folks are cutting back on spending $$$. Also, I did get a lot of "offers" but they were ridiculously low. If you notice a lot of the for sale postings/auctions the buyers are selling to get cash to cover emergency. This is a buyers market right now and everyone is looking for deals. My advice would be to post on Ebay with reserve set to lowest price you'd except. If it doesn't sell...just keep it and enjoy it when your not ridin the dirt bike!

Rusty screws, dirt, unkept fuel lines, etc all scream that you didn't/don't care for your buggy. I would clean it well, then wipe on a light layer of WD40 to give it a nice black sheen. For a buggy that's never been jumped or raced it sure has a lot of scrapes on the chassis. Did you buy it used? If I were you I'd be happy with $350 or close especially considering the upcoming release of the MBX6 and the change of seasons - outdoor racing is ending in many parts of the country. Good luck.

yeah toadman, theres like 4 rusty screws, I dont know why. Like I said, I have replacements, it takes 3 seconds to swap em out, if I noticed them before the pic I woulda swapped em. and the fuel lines were changed a month ago, not that they decrease performance, and I also have 3 feet of brand new stuff that I forgot to mention. I bought it used but it was damn near perfect condition, the reason the chassis is so scrapped is because I drove it on gravel roads with huge rocks on it, and it got banged up.

I am going to part this car and all my extra parts out, if you need anything, just ask, I can take more pics too.

its a 450. my brother has a 2007 crf250, and when you compare the two... well the 250 is a pathetic POS.

at $500 you will sit on it for a long time- realistically 300-400

I sold the mbx5 with 3 scratches for $100 with no shocks- the car is dated
