Default New to Nitro- A Hello

Hey All!

New to nitro, and just bought my first last night. Its a cheap Exceed buggy, but I figure I can try stuff on this before I buy something else. It said it can interchange with better parts from better brands, I guess we will see. Eventually, I am hoping it will be a Frankenstein of parts from store bought parts and custom parts as soon as I can get my little pop-can powered aluminum forge going.

Anyway, if anyone has one, knows what parts it will take to make it better or just feels like talkin, look for me, I hope to stick around a bit and make a difference! THANKS

I'd beat that thing to death, until you feel you have the hang of things and then get something worth investing some money into. Exceed RC vehicles are pretty low quality and spending anymore than you need to just keep it running is probably a waste.

Plus one... perfect thing to learn on and throw away, will save you beating up something built to race. Save your money on hopping it up, have fun, learn then get something killer to exercise your skills with

Hahah, thanks guys! That is what I was kind of thinking anyway. As I learn more, I would love to build one, instead of buying one ready in box. I guess we will see what this thing is like.... as I have no idea what to expect.

Thanks for the replies!

Welcome to the addiction! I agree, don't spend anymore then you have to. That is a good car to start with, but save your money for a race bred chassis.

Congrats!
