Just leave the K bashing out of it , and be satisfied that another Japanese company won, with a Japanese driver, and Japanese engine. ( I know, the D8 was designed in the USA?)

Yes, Josh Alton the designer of the D8 is based in the Foothill Ranch office.

I am a Bonus Lap Member and also was not able to get on. I was able to get on only once today at 11:00am central time. Left and thought I would come back and check it out a little later and was never able to get back on. AS a matter of fact, I still cannot even get to the site to look at results. It is only 30 a year but the fact is I renewed only for this race. OH well tough luck I guess
