So our local track, on the opposite side of the pit area, has a giant sweeper turn thats up on a hill. We were out practicing on a sunday, and there was like, 4 people running. Im in the pits dusting off my car, and one of the guys flips his truggy on the sweeper. I dont know what came over me, but I for some reason had the impulse to leave my pit,a dn take off running allllllllllllllllll the way to the other end of the track. I ran along the outside of the track because there were other cars running, by the time I got there, im standing there faced by this huge hill, thats damn near a 90 degree incline. Mistake number one, you cant get on top of this particular sweeper without going back toward the pit area, getting on the track, and then walking the length of the track over to the sweeper. So... as any lazy guy would do I said "eff that!" and starting trying to scale the side of this hill. Yeah well, I now know that this is extremely loose soil, my first foot and leg plunged through the surface like it was water, i lost my balance and went face first into the hill. Not to be discouraged! I got up and kept climbing. Finally got to the top, bent over to grab the wing of the truggy. And sure as shit, the motor dies.

No injuries. Just my ego.

You Race RC Cars, keep your eyes open while you are marshling. The driver probably hit the throtle because you weren't paying attention. Keep your eyes open when marshling and you wont have a broken toe.

reminds me of a movie quote that would apply here...

If you're going to become true dodgeballers, then you've got to learn the five d's of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge!

We kid because we care,,,

Yeah, that must be it. Thanks for the brilliant advice!

I really wish you were online more, I could learn a lot of things from you!

(Unfortunately, reading comprehension doesn't appear to be one of them...)

I offered to take him to IHOP after the race... I figured we could find a 1-legged waitress there for him...

Yup... 2 quotes come to mind:

1) "Some people speak because they have something to say. Others speak because they have to say something."

2) "It is better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."

Come on, you are the one with the whining diatribe about marshling. You sound like a little girl crying about toy cars spinning their wheels. I read your post and understand it completely, you sound like a person that just like to bitch and complain insistently. Who cares if he hit WOT, move on and get on with your life. Leave the detective work to Walker Texas ranger.

That's PHAT in terms of IHOP. I think she was in the "Girls of IHOP" calendar wasn't she? Y'all leave the little Socialist Internet troll alone, you'll wake him. Gotta be grumpy, he woke up yesterday and found out his country no longer had a Parliament, LOL.

Oh see, NOW you did it! I told you! I posted and then what do I see? The Troll has reared it's fugly little head. I'd 'slpain to him that: 1) your car doesn't go any faster upside down whether it's WOT or not; 2) if you learn to tune, you car will idle for the 3 seconds or so it takes the marshal to throw it on the track. But, some dogs just can't be trained.

How many posts do I need to respond to one of your comments? Please let me know I wouldn’t want to step on your toes.
