Bummer Brad, sorry to hear it. Had a guy from Louisiana who used to race with us, his wife was so happy he quit motocross. His very first race some punk nailed the throttle when he got stuck in the infield and broke this guy's ankle. Wife was ready for him to go back to MX, LOL. As far as pinning the throttle, so what I do. I will flat drop that sumbeech turtle until they get off the gas. I saw a guy get his finger sliced to the bone a couple years ago by a truggy doing the same thing. None of that for me thanks.

A couple of guys here know me. For the rest, I only have one hand. And can't afford to loose it. So this is my marshelling theory.

If you pin the throttle while I'm grabbing the car I will throw my hands up in the air until you stop. Then if I grab the car to flip it and you do it again, I will drop it again. Third time,, (I ware a glove wile marsheling) I will "accedently" cover the exaust with my finger and shut your car off. Now if you pin it wile I'm throwing your car down, you will get away with it the first time. But if you do it a second time I will hold onto your car then shut it off. I don't care if your Adam Drake (I don't think he would do this) I WILL shut your car off. I don't need to loose the only hand I have. And yes I have shut off factory drivers cars, and they are upset with me. But I don't care, you DON'T pin the throttle when being marsheled.

It might have been one of those "zip-zaps" from Radio Shack...

Whatever it was, it hurt!

Anyway, I'm not looking to publicly embarass the guy personally, I'm just venting, and I want them to know I didn't appreciate the full throttle blast... especially when I'm practically laying on the car.

Notice that I didn't mention any names, (and won't) even though I know who the 3 drivers in the A-main running blue and white are... (And noticed ONE of those 3 was reading the thread earlier...) and have eliminated one of them because I know who his pit guy was, he confirmed that he was watching his vehicle the whole time, absolutely NOT that one. (And I was pretty sure that one didn't have as much white on it...)

Yup, that's Doug... he fits right in with the rest of the meatheads there.

Too bad he missed the after hours BS session with Mike B, Jake, Tim, and the rest of our crew. It was getting pretty deep... needed some hip waders! We were at the track until about 1 (ran out of beer!) just joking around. He bailed early... Doug didn't get to race, but came out to help us out anyway on Sunday.

Yea, if I did I might have had a chance to win the "Sandbagger Main"

Finish on the podium at least.

Come on dude... we all know you swim in circles...

As for winning the "Sandbagger Main..." hmmmm... Ron only got 6th... you would have had your work cut out for you.

We both know Ron could have won it if he wasn't on the "Jankey" tires and dealing with the hackers. He's a better driver than he finished.
