Default Slide valve

Anyone ever have the slide valve wear out on them?

Simple answer is yes, I've seen it happen many times. Usually however its not just the slide that wears, the carb body also wears so to "fix" it you would have to replace both, which is basically a whole new carb. When the slide does start to wear what happens is as the throttle servo pulls, the slide will be become slightly crooked l / l which will cause it to stick. It won't necessarily cause a leak that affects tuning but when it sticks you will either be blowing servos or not be able to get off the throttle effectively.
